Lovevery needed to automate the generation of test data to streamline their eCommerce order creation process.
Their testing team manually verified various purchasing flows, but with numerous order variations – including different products, discounts, and store regions – the repetitive nature of these tests made manual execution inefficient and time-consuming.
To optimize their workflow, Lovevery sought a test automation solution that could quickly generate diverse test scenarios and ensure comprehensive coverage of order creation cases. While their initial focus was on automation rather than testing, the scripts developed would later serve a dual purpose – helping with load testing to assess the site’s performance under high transaction volumes.
